So Much Sameness

There really isn’t much new to report. We are still staying home for the most part. Hoping to get some decorations up soon for the season. One fun thing, I did manage to find some interesting lights, or what I think will be interesting, to go outside. They are hard to describe, but my understanding is it’s like 50 flexible small rods you can bend to make ball or star or other shapes with. There are three and if they look like what we think, then we’ll suspend them outside from one of the tree branches. Just call us Callaway Gardens wannabe in miniature. Not really, but you know what I mean.

In other notes, I’ve got another review up for you to read. The book is The Shadow Box by Luanne Rice and combines murder with emotional abuse, throws in a little psychopathy and ties it all together with a plot line that has ultra rich people using their money and power to secure political connections and ultimately become even richer and more powerful. Ooooo, wait, that sounds a bit too close to reality. Fortunately, it’s both a major plot point and a minor exploration. Sound confusing? You’ll need to read the book to understand what I mean.

Anyway, here’s the link to my full review:  https://www.mysteryandsuspense.com/review-the-shadow-box/ I hope you will give it a look and let me know what you think. Now I’m off to read some more and to start my treatment with a chiropractor. More news on both later. Happy Reading.
